Terms of use

The simple rules for using Nika. Last updated 7 October 2026.

1. What Nika is

Nika is an AI teaching assistant made by Meliora Learning Hub for students in your course. She helps you study and practise. She works for your coach and does not replace your coach.

2. Nika can make mistakes

Nika is AI, so some answers may be wrong. Check anything important with your coach. Your coach has the final say. Nika does not give official scores, and nothing she says is a promise of any band score.

3. Not the official test

IELTS belongs to the British Council, IDP and Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Nika is Meliora's own study tool. It is not made or approved by them, and using Nika has nothing to do with your official test or results.

4. Your access code

  • Your code is only for you. Don't share it.
  • We can switch a code off if it is shared or misused.
  • Your access ends when your course ends.

5. Use Nika fairly

  • Use her for your own study.
  • No rude, harmful or illegal messages.
  • Don't try to break, trick or overload the service.
  • Never use Nika during an official test.

6. Your writing

What you write is yours. You allow Meliora to keep and use your chats as explained in the Privacy notice.

7. If you are not okay

Nika is not a counsellor. If you are in danger or thinking of hurting yourself, talk to someone you trust now, or call the NCMH Crisis Hotline (free, any time): 1553 from a landline, 0917 899 8727 or 0919 057 1553 from a mobile.

8. No guarantees

We work hard to keep Nika running and helpful, but she may sometimes be slow or unavailable, and we can't promise she will always be right.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. Philippine law applies. Questions: support@meliora-global.com
